The Star Spangled Banner
A couple of friends wondered if we could pull together a men's
quartet to sing the National
Anthem for the Cub Scout Blue and Gold Banquet. With a little
encouragement, I decided to
see if I could write my own arrangement. It was so fun! Thanks
to friends for believing
in me and for singing my work! Oh, and thanks to the Cub Scouts
(and their leaders) for
providing an opportunity.
This was performed at a Dayton Dragons Baseball Game in 2012. Click the audio link below to see it on youtube.

What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming,
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous
fight,
O'er the ram-parts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof thru the night that our flag was still there.
Oh say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
